I've spent nearly four decades in the broadcast industry, much of it as a radio news anchor in Boston. I've twice been nominated for Boston's Best Radio Newscast. My earlier radio career, as a DJ brought me to Maine, Thailand and then Mississippi. All three locations were courtesy of the U.S. Air Force. My freelance writing has been published in the Boston Globe, the Chicago Tribune and a British magazine, Chatbusters. I've been married for nearly 19 years (oh my!) to my wife, Denise, a nurse. Our son, Brian, is 17 and soon to graduate from high school. Daughter Marisa is 14 and a high school freshman. We live in the suburban Boston community of Walpole. ;
