Travellers' Impressions
Stories & Articles from around the World
I started travelling while a student, spending six weeks with a family in Yugoslavia, in what is now Slovenia. After completing my degree I taught in a school in Ghana with Voluntary Service Overseas and travelled widely in West Africa. Since then, as well as having independent holidays in Bermuda, Kenya, France, Italy I spent three years teaching in Cairo when I explored Egypt and the Middle East. There have been other holidays in Bangladesh, China, Canada, California, New Zealand, South Africa and Tanzania as well as in the U.K. and Europe. The experience and the variety of the world fascinate me. I like to observereflect and absorb the atmosphere, which is, I hope, reflected in my stories and in the photographs. ;
